at Osseo Senior High Tennis Courts
It's a go! Our start date is pushed back to Monday June 15 and our end date is pushed back to Thursday August 6.
Here is our Health and Safety Plan to reduce the risk of COVID-19 at the Orioles Tennis Academy this summer. It is based on guidelines from MN Dept of Health and the USTA.
We are implementing a Daily Health Check (DHC). The DHC is required every day to gain entrance to that day's session. See the Health and Safety Plan for details on how this works.
REVISED DATES: Monday through Thursday, June 15 through August 6, 2020 (except July 6-9).
For student-athletes entering 7th - 12th grade in Fall 2020. Do not enroll unless you are highly motivated. We are physically and mentally demanding — this academy is not for kids unsure of their tennis goals.

Have Fun and Improve Your Game
Tennis improves strength, speed, agility, flexibility, endurance, both large- and small-muscle skills, mental toughness, and problem-solving skills. High school tennis has particular rewards: Fun outdoor exercise, group camaraderie, a chance to excel at a lifetime sport, and, most importantly, sensing improvement through focused effort.
If you work hard you will develop: clean ball-striking, a good serve, passing shots, strategic lobs, overhead smashes, doubles and singles strategies, and mental toughness.
This academy is for players who are committed to learning and improving. Be prepared to have fun while giving purposeful effort. We will try to make every minute on court contribute to your development as a player.
